Social Activities Directorate performs activities aimed to improve the quality of life of the elderly and disabled people, to ensure the right of children to live in a family environment and the access to good quality care and services according to their individual needs, to support the integration of vulnerable communities. It is also responsible for the management of municipal housing funds. It organises, coordinates and controls the retired people clubs activities on the territory of Varna Municipality. The directorate coordinates and controls the implementation of the Social Program of the Municipality of Varna for the second level disposers. It also coordinates and develops projects in the field of social activities.
The directorate consists of two departments - Social Activities and Housing and Social Services and Activities.
